Gas Sampler

Gas Sampler Analisis dan evaluasi kadar kontaminan udara semakin penting mengingat pengaruh polutan terhadap kesehatan. Cemaran kimia seperti gas SO2, H2S, NH3, NOx, debu dll, dapat mengganggu kesehatan para pekerja pabrik, laboratorium, maupun masyarakat sekeliling. Metoda analisa kontaminan udara tidak banyak berbeda dengan analisa kimia lainnya, kecuali diperlukan alat khusus untuk pengambilan contoh dari udara. Ada beberapa cara sampling dan analisa udara seperti metoda “test tube detector”, “impinger”, dan “direct reading” atau metoda instrumental. Setiap metoda mempunyai kelebihan dan kekurangan baik ditinjau dari kecepatan, ketelitian, harga peralatan dan suku cadang. Kesemua alat di atas masih diimpor. Di antara tiga metoda di atas, metoda impinger merupakan metoda yang sesuai untuk kita. Metoda “impinger”, dapat menghasilkan data  cukup teliti (handal), dan luas pemakaian.
